the echo only repeats the last syllables
of what we scream
they are audible and reverberate
like pebbles bouncing in the water
until they sink
returning to the abyss surrounding us
the undeniable reminiscence
of what we don't say

o eco repete apenas as últimas sílabas
do que gritamos
elas são audíveis e reverberam
como seixos a saltitar na água
até que se afundam
devolvendo ao abismo que nos cerca
a inegável renminiscência
do que não dizemos
