K is for Korea

Dear Friends, I´m back from Berlin now and it is time for the next letter. As I thought about words with the letter K I found many german words. If you translate them in English ... they are words with the letter C. (Katze/Cat, Kuchen/Cake ...)
So my K is another older picture from South Korea. It was taken in a Temple in the City Seoul. One thing is new: It is my first try with a texture :-)
Happy Easter to you!

WOW WOW WOW, from the thumbnail image, I was saying out loud, "WOW!!" I just love these kinds of images where you see a million pillars going away into the distance. Perfectly positioned, and perfectly angled, this image is extremely well-balanced. It's a very cool perspective example, to see how things get smaller and change their angle as they get further away. There's just so much to love about this picture. It's abstract, and graphic, and has strong colors, shapes, and textures. I love your frame too, it strengthens the whole composition. I would be interested to see what this picture looks like without the texture. Is it dull and flat? I have found that adding a texture can really add so much to a picture. It's very surprising. I'm glad you tried it, textures are really fun and the results can be very surprising. Layering different textures is fun too...the fun just never ends!

This is outstanding for K, Chrissy. :) And welcome home from Berlin! *big hugs*
