Diese Morgenstimmung erlebte ich kürzlich im Maintal. Die Gegenlichtaufnahme entstand auf der Mainbrücke zwischen Retzbach und Zellingen. Die Felsformation links besteht aus Muschelkalk und ist der ehemalige Prallhang des Mains bei Retzbach. In weiten Bereichen wird hier Weinbau betrieben.

I recently experienced this morning mood in the Main Valley. The backlit photograph was taken on the Main bridge between Retzbach and Zellingen. The rock formation on the left consists of shell limestone and is the former impact slope of the Main near Retzbach. Viticulture is practiced here in some areas.
