Im Erdgeschoss des Baus waren auch Läden und Geschäfte zu finden. Das historische Rathaus ist ein beliebtes Fotomotiv. Es dient jetzt nur noch repräsentativen Zwecken. Dettelbach selbst ist ein bekannter Winzerort und gleichzeitig ein bedeutendes touristisches Zentrum in Franken.
