Lovely sunny day today.....
A friend of mine said that she loved to see the plants in my home and around the garden. Well there's not much colour in my garden - and the mombretia didn't even flower this year because of the drought, so I just took some pictures of the view over the fence into my neighbours' garden!!!!

Their apple tree has been so prolific this year - Ann very kindly popped some over to me to make apple crumbles - but there are absolutely loads still on the tree....

They also have this incredible tree, normally they keep it trimmed but this year they've let it grow and it's got absolutely loads of berries on it. I've forgotten the name of it, but birds love it. It's an old saying that the more there are berries on a tree, then there will be a colder winter. Brace yourself folks!!!

I've decided to move to my other couch, because it's out of the draught with the doorway. So today I sat over there to see what it would be like. I used to sit on it many years ago but not since I've been ill. It's also closer to the fireplace, and if we do have a very cold winter as warned - it'll be good to try and have an open fire - save some money. So this is the view from there.....

You can make out the geraniums and they have been continually flowering since March 2021 - how crazy is that? They obviously love being in the bay window, as do all the other plants - they are flourishing beautifully. It's a bit like Kew Gardens in here - but I love it.

Okay folks, just thought I'd add some different kinds of pictures, instead of my pendants. I did start to make a little soft toy today - so that's progress eh?

My sister had a bumper crop of apples and pears this year, and we had quite a haul of blueberries.

Lovely plants Jenny, they brighten the room. Nice view from your chair. I've heard that saying too, just hope it doesn't ring true.

Normally I have damsons on my trees, but I haven't been out of the house to see them, as this hasn't been a good year for them. Yes I love my lounge now - I was talking to a friend this afternoon, and she said that the bay window has really done its stuff - no central heating too, the plants prefer that - I could do with some heat though!!!! I wish you a great weekend to come.
