I was spoiled rotten by everyone. It all started on Monday 10th (day before the big day) when Tony, my son, came up to see me and he brought a beautiful large orchid plant..
He knows I love orchids, so he brought it and it was from Mandi too. Then on the actual day - my neighbour Anne came in with a plant, but neither of us could remember its name, but the flowers are nice when they come out!! She also brought me an Aloe Vera plant...
Then Emily arrived as usual on a Tuesday, but she was carrying a huge plant - a Calla Lily, which she knows I adore.....
Now this has a gorgeous scent. Then before she left, my other neighbour, Yvonne, came up with a lot of small bouquets of locally grown spring flowers...
She also brought the glass vase with them - brilliant. She didn't stop long because Anne came back in. She'd brought me a huge bouquet of red carnations!!!!....
I told them all off for spoiling me like this - they know I love flowers, but to be honest, there's not a lot of room left in my bay window for more flowers/plants - so the kitchen table has the tulips etc. Wasn't I lucky? I really don't deserve this kind of treatment, because I can't reciprocate it when it's theirs. I'll certainly try, but if not, then they're going to have to put up with my resin jewellry instead!!!!
Although no-one stayed very long, by the time it was the evening, I was absolutely exhausted and I went to bed earlier than I usually go and to be honest - I think tonight is going to be an early one too. Inbetween the visits, I had the video calls from Tony and Stevie, and Mandi and Dogan.
I do hope everyone is taking care of themselves and staying safe. Hopefully this virus will soon be completely managable and we can start living again.

I'm glad you had a lovely day and got to see/talk with friends and family too.

You have some lovely friends & those are beautiful plants you got from them.
With all that going on, I'm not surprised you needed an early night.
