I believe it isnt a Calla but an oriental lily. Ive grown quite a few from the bulb. They also have a very heady scent. But callla lilies are more trumpet shaped blossoms..
You might be right Gracie - I'll have to let the shop know (the one who sold it to Emily)!! The scent is absolutely superb - I can smell it now and it's gorgeous.
The orientals blossoms don't last overly long but you could smell them from several feet away outside. I would keep my front window open and the scent would waft into the house!
