My Favorite Month!
Spring is in full swing in my part of the world, and I couldn't be happier! I must say that if we had to endure lockdown during a pandemic, it happened at the best time. Can you imagine how much worse it would be if we had to go through this Covid pandemic during the winter months??

One of the activities that I am able to do thanks to this time of year is my garden. As a matter of fact, this was the earliest I started it (late March, soon after I took leave of absence from work). Now on May 1st, I am reaping early rewards!

My husband has started a vegetable garden in the back yard which has been a godsend to him.

Another activity that I am doing that I never did before is to tear myself away from the computer and get out to walk through my neighborhood on a regular basis. Many of my neighbors are doing the same thing. I can't believe how much better I feel just doing that! It will be a routine that I do long after lock down ends, I think.

Yes indeed, Covid-19 has changed my life in ways that I couldn't imagine. Maybe we all needed this time to shake up our daily routines and get us to slow down. To think about what is important and what is not. Maybe we will appreciate our families and friends a little more, and appreciate all the many blessings in our lives as we return to normal.

Your garden is beautiful! I love it. I do a flower garden also. There are plenty of boastful pictures in my feed! :-) An yes spring is my favorite season too. Nothing like it when it finally gets bright and warm and the first flowers poke their heads out.
I learned a long time ago how important it is to appreciate the people around you. Now I have learned to better appreciate my freedom of movement and will.

Yes I must say that this virus has made most of us re-think our lives and what is more important to us. I see that some families are now talking more to each other - doing more things together, so let's hope they continue to do this when we get back to "normality" - whatever that means. I certainly feel more aware of what I love doing more - and that is being able to just go to the beach when I feel like it, but more importantly - be free to go and visit my daughter in Turkey. It's been over 10 months since I last saw her and it's awful.

Your flowers looks gorgeous and you can certainly see all your hard work has paid off.
