This is a view of the Pacific coast from Nepenthe, a restaurant which affords amazing views and great food. And, in the right time of the year, whale watching. It is one of my favorite places along Big Sur. Years ago it had a '60's feeling. That has pretty much changed, but it is still a great place.

Big Sur is one of the most beautiful places on earth, at least in my opinion. Every time I visit, the visions of the coast, the coolness of the fresh air, the sound of the waves crashing against the coastline, the color of the water, and the feeling of freedom I experience never leave me ...
