Reichsburg, Cochem, Mosel, HFF

Die Reichsburg Cochem wurde zu Beginn des 12. Jahrhundert auf einem 154 m hohen Bergkegel errichtet. Sie diente dazu Zoll von den vorbeifahrenden Schiffen auf der Mosel einzutreiben.

Leider gab es nur einen begrenzten Standort innerhalb einer Kurve.
