Uninviting

Happy Bench Monday to all. I hope your day and your week are OK.

I'm not sure this is really uninviting. I remember taking this picture in the dim and distant past of 2012, and it being a cold and miserable late spring day in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland. We sat and shivered as only southern softie Western Australians do when faced with temperatures below 20°C, but we enjoyed the misty view and the empty sea. And looking back to 2012 I'm nostalgic for a more innocent, seemingly peaceful time when the future seemed to promise good things ...

I don’t agree. Maybe because I live in a region with over 320 sunny days per year, when weather is cloudy and sometimes rainy I really appreciate!
Your photo is minimalistic, greatly composed and for me the best one this day!**********************
HBM to you.
