A train of empty grain wagons, operated by Watco, travelling South past DownsSteam. Photographed here while standing on the long end of DS's recently acquired old diesel, currently up on blocks with the wheelsets/bogies removed. One bogie frame without wheels can be seen in undercoat grey on the yellow stands. The wheels are being prepared for milling to ensure they are all the same size and are the correct shape. I've spent most of my recent days here investigating and photographing the electricals of this loco. November 2024. See PiP for another view.
