John FitzGerald replied to Xata:

Thanks, Xata. I took several here (there are a dozen or more statues) but liked this the best. More may be coming.

An impressive trio of statues John. The look as if they're made of marble. I find them a bit incongruous in this setting but I think that's probably because of the perspective you've taken the shot from.

John FitzGerald replied to Keith Burton:

Thanks, Keith. The angle may be due to my wanting to get the two cottages in for contrast -- they're in typical styles of a small region around London, and I thought they would be good paired with symbols of universality. Ahem. Did I just say that? Time for a lie-down.

And three Buddhas who need a meal.

Hmm. I have another Buddha shot from long ago that might be a good supplement to this. Keep eyes peeled.
