Ahead of its time, eh, TLC? It antedates the Walkie-Talkie by 14 years.

Awesome light and unusual dappled shadows. Well seen and taken John. The figure in the foreground really works for scale.

A lonely figure - and the slight lens-tilt of the Trust Tower is leaning against it. No need to dwell on metaphor - it's a strong image.

Formal life in the architecturethrough reflections...and the resting point is the figure.

John FitzGerald replied to Gisela Plewe:

There is so much glass in downtown Toronto, Gisela, that many sections of street are illuminated on both sides all day. I live further north, but in the morning I get light from the west on my balcony rather than from the east. I particularly liked the person's red hat, which attracts attention to them as the anchor. That saved me painting it red, I suppose.
