To avoid the heavy traffic and road closures/diversions around RAF Mildenhall for today only the route between Ely and Mildenhall was via Isleham and Worlington rather than via Shippea Hill and Beck Row. The service used Station Road, Barton Mills (where the bus is seen) rather than King Street, Mildenhall as the ‘Mildenhall’ pick up point (this was only 0.4 mile/700 metres distant but being on the south side of the River Lark was in the Parish of Barton Mills).
