Der Besucher der Klosterkirche des ehemaligen Klosters Tückelhausen ist überwältigt von der Formen- und Farbenvielfalt der barocken Innenarchitektur. Das Kloster existierte von 1139 bis zur Säkularisation 1803 und ist seitdem aufgelöst. Die verblieben Gebäude sind zum Teil vermietet oder zu einem Museum umgebaut. Erstaunlich ist, dass die eigentlich armselig lebenden Karthäuser sich einen solchen Prachtbau (vielleicht zum Ausgleich?) gönnten. Die Kirche wird heute noch als als Gotteshaus genutzt. The visitor to the monastery church of the former Tückelhausen Monastery is overwhelmed by the variety of shapes and colors in the Baroque interior architecture. The monastery existed from 1139 until its secularization in 1803 and has been dissolved since then. Some of the remaining buildings are rented out, while others have been converted into a museum. It is remarkable that the Carthusians, who actually lived in poverty, allowed themselves such a magnificent building—perhaps as a form of compensation?
