Dieses sich paarende Marienkäfer-Pärchen fand ich kürzlich in einem Bestand von blühenden Giersch-Pflanzen (Aegopodium podagraria) am Rand eines Eichenwaldes. Unter einer Blütendolde konnten sie sich ungestört ihrem Fortpflanzungsgeschäft widmen.

I recently found this mating pair of ladybugs in a stand of flowering goutweed plants (Aegopodium podagraria) on the edge of an oak wood. Under a flower umbel they could devote themselves undisturbed to their reproductive business.
