Seen across the busy dual carriageway. Propatria, for country. A memorial for the fallen of the village that used to be here. There’s a giant Sainsbury’s to the left that looms over this corner. The memorial stays clean, well looked after.

That’s well put, Armando. As I read the names I strongly felt the presence of these brave, innocent young men even in the midst of this busy built up area. It was perhaps even more vivid because of that.
