Captured at Carradale harbour, Kintyre, Scotland, overlooking the Kilbrannan Sound. From the harbour itself to the right of here there are views of the west coast of the Isle of Arran This must be a pleasant spot for local fishermen and visitors to the area to sit and take a break to enjoy the view.

Nowadays there is still a fishing fleet working out of the harbour, largely dealing in shellfish, but from the 1830s until the second world war this was also a daily stopping point for steam boats on route from Campbeltown to Glasgow
