A visit to the Kent & East Sussex Railway, my first since 1986! Hunslet Austerity 0-6-0ST (Works 2857 of 1943) as WD75008 Swiftsure stands at the head of its train at Tenterden station the northern terminus of the K&SER.

Just noticed that the left-hand bench has SER in wrought iron on the end. The South Eastern Railway ceased to exist with the Grouping in 1923!
