HFF Duncansby Head Caithness Scotland 12th September 2025

Beautiful weather in beautiful Caithness.

The cottage is on the mainland but behind is the island of Stroma and lighthouse with the Orkney hills of Hoy in the beyond over Pentlandite Firth. Their apparent proximity is exaggerated by the telephoto lens.

We were very lucky Christa. The weather here in the far north was perfect when the rest of the UK was awash with rain!
