"Castle HSTs to be withdrawn by Great Western Railway by the end of 2023" read the headline in 2022. Although I also read some may last into 2024 but still, better get some shots of them before they go...
Several canine trainspotters on platform 1 show great interest in GWR HST 43154 Compton Castle (plus 43092 Cromwell's Castle on the tail) arriving on the 15.50 Penzance to Bristol Temple Meads train. Maybe they read the headline too!
