It's certainly a beautiful scene...........and the colours in the sky and water are gorgeous (if a touch over-saturated). I wonder if it's a real scene or just a place from the painter's imagination?

The way he's depicted the ice and frost, especially on the trees, is brilliant. I can see why you and Joni loved this so much.

He is a fine artist. The oversaturation of the colors I'm was my fault, as I increased it just before I posted it. I'll adjust it back a bit later today. And it always seemed to me to be an idealized forest scene from his imagination.
