<no title>

the happy hour
happens
on mild days
sitting on the shed
after lunch
all uncertainties
and misfortunes of the world
land in my garden
for a moment
many and brief birds
chirp in their passage
intermittent canticle
requiem or te deum
that lulls me
and makes me fall asleep

in my shed
on mild days
there are happy hours

///

a hora feliz
acontece
nos dias amenos
sentado no telheiro
depois do almoço
todas as incertezas
e desgraças do mundo
por instantes
pairam no meu jardim
passaros breves e tantos
cilreiam na sua passagem
intermitente cântico
te deum ou requiem
que me embala
e adormece

no meu alpendre
em dias amenos
há horas felizes

Lovely photots and very beautiful poetry Armando. That sounds just perfect to me!
The peace and quiet, birdsong and maybe the gentle drone of a bee in the warm sunshine. That makes me want to close my eyes - just for a minute or two you understand?!!

Wish you both a warm and peaceful week in your happy place

Best wishes to you both

Armando Taborda replied to Ecobird:

I clearly understand you and I love the simple things of life and nature as they were so well defined by you, Carol. The mind tends to complicated them and, unfortunately, we listen to it frequently.

Well, Fernando Pessoa had said, "Life is good, but better is the wine / Love is good but better is to sleep", I would like to follow his formula.

Kiss.
