neither the sanctity of the world
nor the continents slipping through the earth's magma
a few centimeters a year
evil spreads like the desert
the war does its part with avidity
life is reduced to some oasis
where we still survive
on behalf of the days
one more
one day at a time

EM NOME DOS DIAS

já ninguém sabe onde fica a Gólgota
nem a santidade do mundo
nem os continentes a deslizarem no magma terrestre
alguns centímetros por ano
o mal alastra como o deserto
a guerra faz a sua parte com avidez
a vida reduz-se a alguns oásis
onde ainda sobrevivemos
em nome dos dias
mais um
um dia de cada vez
