Peter, what a clear, very detailed shot of these Birds of Paradise. this flower was featured in a lovely valentine bouquet of a dear friend. this is an excellent shot Peter.

Thank you for visiting, and the link. I have no idea how the name cam about, but thinking of how the meanings of words can change even in our lifetime, I do wonder if it had some other name originally, and popular usage (and globalisation) changed it to something more fitting.
