Maybe another 10 days - 2 weeks.

by Andy Rodker
They are looking good already but we could do with a week of much warmer weather. It's been dry but very unseasonably cold with a persistent northerly wind.
These apricots are a world apart from the mass produced yellow, hairy and tart apologies for the name of apricots you often get in the shops, even in Spain!

Andy Rodker replied to Trudy Tuinstra:

Thank you, Trudy. They're apricots but are closer in texture and taste to the ripest nectarines you've ever tasted!

Ooooh you lucky thing - I love apricots and these look so tasty. Mandi has a lot of fruit trees in her garden in Turkey - especially around Christmas time with lots of oranges.

Andy Rodker replied to Jenny McIntyre:

I guess in about 10 days time and I'll be able to report on their sweetness, Jenny. Sorry!
