The final day of our stay in France we drove from our guest house in Le Molay-Littry near Bayeux to Mont-Saint-Michel and after a brief visit there drove back to Cherbourg where we took the ferry to Dublin. It was raining at Mont-Saint-Michel, but we walked the causeway to the island and walked up through the town to the abbey. We did not have time to visit the abbey and were quite wet when we arrived back at the car but enjoyed our visit nonetheless.
