I've been on this funicular, Herb, and across the Chain Bridge. Adrian worked on and off in Hungary in the 80s and 90s, and I got around the city very well. The public transport cost 2 Forints to go anywhere, and I had a lovely time. You have brought back some very happy memories.

Hi Amelia and delighted that this brought pleasant memories back. Yes we only realised on the last day there how cheap the public transportation was. This funicular ride however, we thought expensive for what it was.

Fantastic city view ***

Wow! That's a pretty impressive view from up there Herb. I like your composition here, the leading lines from the rails continue nicely, with just a small gap, on to the line made by the bridge over the river. Beautifully captured.

The PiP looks pretty good too!

Yes, a very good view considering it is not terribly high. The area behind us, we thought, the most interesting and scenic part of the whole of the city. Glad you enjoyed this view with us.
