A ride on the Budapest Castle Hill Funicular

A trip to Budapest cannot be made without exploring the higher parts of Buda and its castle. To get there one can climb the steps or take this historic funicular.
It was opened in 1870 but destroyed in the second World war but reopened again in 1986. The two bridges were removed in 1900 but rebuilt to the original designs in 1983,
It has a length of 95m to a height of 51m at a gradient of 62 degrees.
