Hard challenge as I don't have a favorite anything, but love many writers, painters, musicians...
I have always been fascinated by this painting a friend owns. When I saw this cloud on top of an eucalyptus this painting came to my mind, so even if the photo was taken over a month ago I think it meets the challenge.
