Kids... innocence...

I lived in Africa in the 1980s... can't tell how much I miss my life there in humanitary mission... can't tell how much I felt out of place coming back to Europe... but I realized my place was not in Africa either.
Therefore I decided to come back to my roots when I retired, nevertheless I feel better alone hiking in nature, society and social life are not for me... or I am not fit for it, but since I know myself I am aware I don't fit almost anywhere...
I have chosen this old digitalized photo because nowadays I don't feel comfortable photographing people; I would not like to be photographed so I guess if some don't care others do.

This is wonderful! All kids should have the chance to be kids.
These days too many people have lost all respect and decency- filming people in accidents instead of helping....

The age of innocence. I know the feeling abut being alone, I lose myself to the surroundings, and I love it.

Lovely photo of the children. I am another person who rarely takes photos with people in them. I did today at a local car show but the cars were the subject, the people less so except one I took which I guess I could have joined Sunday Challenge with. ( I have never noticed Sunday Challenge before!)

Xata replied to Colin Ashcroft:

Sunday challenge is pleasant and liberal. You are most welcome to join, no obligation to post every week, just when you feel like.
Obrigada Colin
