A fascinating image Diana...........I would never have believed anyone was living there, it looks abandoned and it's only when you view it large you notice the vehicles, the washing on the lines, the modern aerials etc. The surrounding landscape is quite beautiful..!!

This reminds me so much of any of several old slate mines in north Wales, left abandoned at the top of a valley somewhere so remote that it isn't worth the effort of stealing anything left behind.
