Diana Australis replied to ºLº:

Chess for giants.....they are inselbergs ....ancient weathered former hills worn down by erosion, and arising abruptly from the plain.

Yes for the geology but I was thinking in terms of myths perhaps..Never mind ..

Good evening Diana ;-))

Diana Australis replied to ºLº:

Only inso far as being settled by Irish ....who named them Murphy's Haystacks. There are around 60 of them in an area of around 2 hectares.....on a farm in an isolated area.
I like the teddy bear....
I don't know of any indigenous history.....there are no paintings or cultural remains
Good evening dear Leonora xxxx
