More moths

Today when I opened the gate (see yesterday) even more Bogong Moths swarmed out, leaving those in PiP 1. Many others were on the Grevillea shrubs outside (PiPs). These remarkable moths eat nectar during the day and travel (guided by the stars) at night to summer destinations in Australia's Snowy Mountains. When there, many become vital nutrition for the wildlife. After summer, those surviving head back inland some 1,000 km for next breeding.
