This is the stoker at work on the
"PS Pevensey", on which we cruised the Murray. It still has its original steam engine from 1911, using wood as fuel. In the PiPs, more views of the engine which is fully open to viewing by passengers (behind fences). Finally, a view of the paddle wheel operating, visible through a porthole.
