This photo took me back to my school days. I used to cycle past here all the time, crossing the bridge to take in this breathtaking view of the ponds during my school years in Tervuren (In the meantime, nearly half a century has passed). It’s the holidays now, so there are far fewer people than usual. Given my health, I went for a lovely walk here to the centre and back. Enjoying some refreshment amongst the trees and ponds of Tervuren Park. It's a lovely place for me to go, and it's not far away from my door. You never forget the things you’ve enjoyed, and it’s a blessing that those memories come flooding back. I try to combine this with enjoyable activities that are also beneficial to me and sometimes they turn out to be real gems.
