When I got home, I saw his beautiful fan-shaped tail swaying back and forth around the spruce. This beautiful blue peacock belonging to the neighbours had been hiding from me and was suddenly perched on the trunk of the silver birch that we had to cut down three years ago. A violent storm had made these two silver birches a hazard. The trunk is still there and serves as a vantage point for this beautiful blue peacock. He sat there quietly looking around, not far from me. He allowed me to take this lovely portrait of him. He’s slowly getting used to me. I love seeing animals so close to me and experiencing them like this.
