Several years ago, friends took this photo of Mary and me at the Getty Museum of Art, alongside the photo of J. Paul Getty, who had donated his vast art collection to the museum. Seeing this photo of J. Paul, it struck me that Matt Gruening must have based "The Simpsons" character of scoundrel, Montgomery Burns, on Getty. :)
