HELLO!!!

My high school marching band, 1964. Submitted to the Vintage Photos Theme Park for the theme, BANDS (MUSIC GROUPS), and the monthly theme, RED. This was a newly opened school, as were my grade school and junior high school, all built to accommodate the leading wave of baby boomers. One unique aspect of being at the head of the boomer line was that the majority of my classmates were first-born children. I never gave it much thought at the time, but as a group we were probably more naive than would have previously been the norm, not having the benefit of an older sib's imparted knowledge of the world. Those that had older siblings were something of a welcome curiosity; beside knowing stuff, their brothers or sisters could sometimes drive us places. Most of my high school social life revolved around my band friends and not having seen this photo for several years, I was amused to see that two of the girls I briefly dated are in that front line of band cadets; letter H and the third exclamation point from the right. :) Ah, memories.
