why color wheel ?

first, thanks for checking out my photos and commenting etc. why? i was just discovering that a set of my photos focused on one color predominently, so i started grouping them in 'color'. but i always think of the color wheel when i think of solid colors, just my oddity i think, nothing deeper than that.
