Das dem nicht so ist, beweisen die durch den Klimawandel verursachten Veränderungen.
Das lässt sich natürlich noch beschleunigen mit noch mehr Skipisten, mehr Massentourismus und Verkehr und Umgestaltung der Landschaft, z.B. durch die Gletscherverbauung Pitztal-Ötztal.

Die Gletscherverbauung Pitztal-Ötztal sieht vor, dass eine Fläche von rund 90 Fußballfeldern (64 Hektar) an wild zerklüfteter Gletscherlandschaft zu Skipisten eingeebnet und planiert wird. Für die Errichtung neuer Gebäude sollen zwei Fußballfelder (1,6 Hektar) an Gletschereis abgetragen werden.
