Mount Washington and Belknap Crater

Mount Washington (left) as seen from summit of Belknap Crater (right).
Both are volcanoes in the McKenzie Pass area of Oregon.
Belknap last erupted in 480 CE.
Washington a long time ago. So long that the soft slopes were pushed aside by glaciers during past ice ages. Leaving the peaked hard core that you see above.
