Matagarup

A Happy Bench Monday to everyone.

This is the Matagarup Bridge which carries pedestrians from East Perth to Perth Stadium. We walk across it when we join thousands of others to see the mighty (cough, splutter) Fremantle Football Club, the "Freo Dockers", play Australian Rules Football, the most exciting ball game in the world (of course, YMMV, but I know I'm right).

Groups of people climb it each day, Christa, clipped to safety lines and looking scared as hell; and there is also a zip-line from the top down to the stadium. Too damned nerve-wracking for me, I'm afraid.
