4 Cormorants on a very cold but bright afternoon. First time out with my, new to me, Olympus E-M5ii.
I accidentally set the iso to 25600 without realising but DXO was able to still give a decent image.
Thats what happens with cold fingers on a new camera body I suppose!

A great capture and the high ISO has given the shutter speed to stop the birds well. Coming from film years ago, I'm totally knocked over at the usable ISOs of modern cameras with modern software.

Couldn't agree more George, I'm coming from the same place. Setting the iso to 25600 was my own stupid fault, basically unfamiliarity with my new camera. But the fact I was still able to get a decent image from it is quite incredible and that and the stabilisation now means you can get geat images you wouldn't have thought possible backthen
