1840 wurde das Saxophon von dem Belgier Adolphe Sax erfunden. Zunächst fand es besonders im Musikstil "Swing" Anwendung und Gehör.. Später eroberte es auch alle anderen Musikrichtungen. ich persönlich höre seinen Klang sehr gerne, auch als Solo.
