A Still Life...........with Rosemary

Taken indoors in natural window light. The sprig of fresh Rosemary is from my garden, the dried Rosemary is from a shop and the little container came from a charity shop, bought with this photo in mind.

A beautifully composed still life in soft light and with warm colours.
My sister has similar spice pots bought in England, they used to be quite the rage:-)

Keith Burton replied to Gudrun:

I'm pleased you like this one Gudrun..........I've had the pot for a while, waiting for the rosemary flowers to bloom. It will be donated back to the shop in due course.

Thanks for your visit and lovely comments as always!

Another good idea and a very fine still life, Keith!
The charity shop seems to have many interesting things like this container and the rosemary , both fresh and dried go so well with it, in colour harmony!

Lovely tones Keith.

Your Rosemary is ahead of mine which is not yet flowering - oh lord that’s reminded me I must go and water …...

Mine has only recently flowered.........I've had the pot for a while, just waiting..!!

Hope you got your watering done! We didn't have to bother yesterday as we had a few showers of rain in the afternoon,
