This is the view, through light snow falling. from the window I am looking out right now. It looks over a neighbour's roof, the street they live on, the neighbourhood graveyard, another street, a lane called for the small bridge over the neighbourhood river, another road, and finally the downtown "Harbour Arterial" road, a well-lit four-lane highway. And then the hillside above the highway, where the carless dirt road is that we walk from time to time.

We had the windows on this side of the house replaced six months ago and I am glad we did. We get pretty good views, obstructed only by the trees.
