Our once-a-mystery-plant, now safely assumed to be an Allium giganteum, is also showing an early assumption by us to have been wrong.

We thought its flower would be some species of red. But clearly it wants to be a species of blue.
Or something in between red and blue.

This is okay. So much in life is like it.
