About five years ago, I planted these English bluebells' corms (or bulbs or whatever they are) on our lawn. Every spring since then, the green leaves came dutifully up, but without blooms. I had just about given up on them when, the day before yesterday, these tiny blooms appeared.

I now have hope for more.
